( aka MOM )
I live in Nebraska.
For 14 years, I was an LPN in Long Term Care
until an on-the-job injury
forced me to quit nursing in 2001
Then other health problems have forced me to
to become a 'Stay-at-Home'
Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Webmistress

I started building MOM'S PLACE in 1994
as a sort of therapy from my job as a nurse
and as an escape from day to day routines.

I continue to build MOM'S PLACE for enjoyment.

Steve and I were married 8/3/96
He is not only my husband... he is my best friend.
Steve works for the State of Nebraska.. Dept. of Roads
He is also known as Slo-hand46

We have 3 'grown' children and 2 step grown children.
TOBY..the oldest
TOBY is 31.
He works for a Nebraska company
doing underground utilities
He owns a 98 Harley which is his pride and joy.
CHAD..the middle child
CHAD is 30 and has 2 beautiful daughters.
Sydney Rae and Skylar Kay
He works for a construction company that travels
extensively building and remodeling 'high-end' retail stores.
BRANDY..the 'baby'
BRANDY is 27
and until a work related injury,
she was a Certified Nurse Aide
and Medication Aide.
She has changed her career choice
and is now a Cosmetologist.
She is married to a wonderful man named Scott.
They are wonderful parents to my littlest Granddaughter
Cheyenne Grace.

We also have 2 beautiful step-daughters
KIM
Kim is an insurance agent
in a small western Nebraska town
She is married to Travis,
who is an avid hunter.
They have a beautiful daughter..
and our Granddaughter, Kirsten
LISA
Lisa is married and is an Associate at a
major shopping center.
Her husband Justin is a welder
and like Toby, also owns a Harley.
Lisa and Justin are the parents of
our Granddaughter, Leah.
and our Grandson, Logan

I am a very proud Grandma to
5 beautiful little girls

Skylar Kay
Leah Elizabeth
Cheyenne Grace
and 1 handsome little boy
Logan

They are what truly keeps me going.
